Joe was born and raised in the Laurentian Mountains north of Montreal, Quebec. After graduating from high school, he briefly studied drafting and architecture in college in Montreal. In his late twenties he completed a comprehensive course in appliance repair.
This led to a 13-year career in an appliance repair shop in Saint Jovite, Quebec, followed by 7 years as an independent repair shop owner in the same city. Ensuring that the client's needs were met and all their concerns addressed was always the primary objective.
When Joe lost his mother to cancer in 1999, it made him aware of how fragile life is and of the importance of being prepared.
In 2001 Joe met the woman who would later become his wife, and a few months after they met he closed his repair shop and moved to Calgary, Alberta to join her and her two young sons.
In the spring of 2009 Joe was working in a warehouse when he was introduced to Tammy through a mutual friend. He had wanted to make the transition to financial services for a long time and that opportunity had arrived. He joined
The Financial Guides several months later.
In his spare time Joe enjoys spending quality time with his wife, walks in the forest, birdwatching, writing poetry and model railroading. He also shares his home with a dog, 4 cats, and an aquarium full of fish. Foster kittens and puppies also make occasional guest appearances.
If you would like to contact Joe he is available via (email) or phone at 403-671-7520.
